Cat Clast Imbrication

A special geokitteh post.  I bring you two instances of cat imbrication!

The fluffy cat clast is hiding in this picture.

Not sure how the fat cat clast managed to get only one blind on the other side of her.

We now return you to your regularly scheduled Monday, and myself back to actual productive school work.

  2. I like cute cat pictures but the geologic terms are lost on me. Oh well, it's cute with an IQ.

  3. Clast imbrication is usually used in conjunction with river deposits to indicate direction of flow. I should have put a little more info up, but I was lazy :) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Imbrication_(sedimentology)
